Spider-Man came face-to-face with himself when a tragedy in his family brought Spidey's long-lost clone back to New York. Thinking him part of an enemy's plot, Spider-Man lashed out at his double. The fight was interrupted by the mysterious Chakra, who issued a challenge that brought both Spider-Men to Ravencvroft Institute to deal with the menace of her master, the enigmatic Judas Traveller!
